Dan Ashworth was partly responsible for Manchester United's summer spending splurge, which saw five players come through the door. But how have each of them fared?
Former Manchester United sporting director Dan Ashworth has parted ways with the club after just five months.
Having transferred from Bayern Munich in the summer for a modest fee, Mazraoui has featured in all of United's Premier League, Europa League, and League Cup matches. Nominated for the club's November Player of the Month award, Mazraoui has brought some much-needed stability to a shaky United defence.
However, Amorim chose to start the 19-year-old in the loss against Forest on Saturday. While he didn't particularly stand out in the match, his age and reputation as a significant aerial threat, coupled with the recent faith shown in him by Amorim, suggest that the young Frenchman has a bright future ahead of him, although the verdict is still very much out.
