One of Liz Truss’s key allies has said the former PM will reflect on “things that could have been done differently” 🔴 But Tory MP Ranil Jayawardena (ranil) said that many MPs still believe in the former PM’s ‘pro-growth’ agenda
after just over three months out of the spotlight, with an article in a Sunday newspaper supportive of the Tories expected ahead of the Budget on 15 March.
Speaking to fellow Tory MPs Esther McVey and Philip Davies on GB News, Mr Jayawardena said: “I’m delighted that we’ve got over 50 colleagues who have joined this group and are all focused on making sure that we’ve got new policies for the NHS, new policies for the environment, new policies for quality of life across this country, and it doesn’t involve more spending and more tax rises.
