Fifty-five percent of adults say they want fewer immigrants entering the country, a 14% increase from last year. It is also the first time in 19 years that a majority of Americans have wanted less immigration.an additional 3,200,000 people at the border, which has become a campaign issue for President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump.
