Breakfast is often considered the most important meal of the day. But what ones have been removed from our shelves?
Breakfast is often hailed as the most important meal of the day. A bowl of tasty cereal drenched in ice-cold milk is a common choice for those rushing off to school or work - and it's usually a hit with the kids.
The cereal was similar to Rice Krispies but came with a frosted sugar coating. However, due to its high sugar content, it was sadly discontinued in 2017, much to the disappointment of many. But in 2014, the brand underwent a significant change when it rebranded to Honey Monster Puffs. The original recipe was also altered to contain less sugar and more honey - a move that, according to many fans, unfortunately resulted in a loss of flavour.
In 1996, Kellogg's decided to discontinue the cereal along with Golden Crisp in favour of introducing new products.
