Close Aesha and Captain Sandy did not have the closest relationship when she worked for her on Below Deck Med during her first two seasons. The new Chief Stew formerly worked with Captain Sandy on seasons 4 and 5. On the Below Deck Med After Show, from Bravo TV, Aesha said she almost said “no” to Captain Sandy when she asked her to work for her during season 5.
3 Aesha Might Not Get Along With Captain Sandy Will They Get Along On Below Deck Med? Close Captain Sandy and Aesha may not get along. Captain Sandy was not keen on Hannah, whom Aesha was very close with. After Hannah was fired, Aesha told Entertainment Tonight that she felt “very protective” of her friend and saw how “vulnerable” the former Chief Stew was when Captain Sandy fired her. Captain Sandy could redirect her dislike of Hannah towards Aesha on Below Deck Med season 9.
