Iconic 80s band reunite for new tour – 34 years after bitter split and ‘struggling to cope with fame’
Brit AwardsThey are comprised of Eddi Reader on vocals, Mark Nevin on electric and acoustic guitars, Simon Edwards on guitar and Roy Dodds on drums.
Their split in 1990 - while they were in the midst of creating a follow-up album - came as the pressures of fame hit hard.A makeshift second album, a collection of B-sides and live tracks, Ay Fond Kiss, was released that year yet they are now giving things a second stab.Scottish singer Eddi, 64 - who forged a solo career in her own right after the split - has spoken out on the reunion.
In 1993, she was also the presenter of BBC Scotland's No Stilettos, a music performance programme aired in Glasgow.
