Cyndi Lauper is going back out on tour Cyndi Lauper is set to celebrate her iconic career in style by embarking on a huge farewell tour, complete with special guests.
The Girls Just Want To Have Fun singer has been a fixture of the industry for decades, releasing debut album She’s So Unusual in 1983 – which hit the top five in charts around the world. Earlier today, the 70-year-old announced that she will be setting off on the Girls Just Wanna Have Fun Farewell Tour later this year, across 23 cities. This will be her first prolonged stint on the road in over a decade, following her last headline tour in 2013.
Cyndi will be embarking on a massive string farewell performances She has been a staple of the music industry As Ragazzoni added: ‘I hope this “Farewell Tour” imitates the “farewell “ tour from Cher as it never ended!!!’ While many more begged the music legend to get a few more locations on her schedule. Cyndi will be kicking the party off in Montreal on October 18, before stops in Boston, Nashville, Atlanta and LA.
