APPEA CEO Samantha McCulloch says the energy industry has been waiting for a response from the government on how the gas price cap will work “in practice”.

“That guidance has just been released this morning, that is welcome, we’ll be working through the detail of that,” Ms McCulloch told Sky News Australia.

“But really, this goes to the level of uncertainty that’s been created by these very complex reforms that have been implemented with very little consultation.”
