Sky News host Chris Kenny is tipping it won’t be “smooth sailing” for Australia’s Ambassador to the US, Kevin Rudd.

“I mean, here’s a bloke who used to be prime minister, yet he’s happy now, taken a job where he has to take instructions from the Foreign Minister, Penny Wong, one of the politicians who knifed him as PM, and of course from his old mate Anthony Albanese who, it must be said, was always loyal to him,” he said.

Mr Kenny said Mr Rudd presented his credentials to US President Joe Biden and afterwards gave the people “lots of words without saying too much”. “Well, I guess Rudd didn’t need to say much about China because I’m guessing he handed over a signed copy of his book,” he said.Read More
