8th Annual Cajun Cookoff held in downtown Mobile

The aroma of cajun spices filled the air as many people flocked to Cathedral Square in downtown Mobile for the annual Cajun cook off.

) - FOX10 was one of the many sponsors, helping raise money for the Child Advocacy Center.

Luke Taylor, one of the young attendees, gave the food he sample a 10 out of 10, saying, “I like how the gumbo tasted.”Their buddy Liam Hodges says the bacon wrapped shrimp was some of the best shrimp he’s ever had, saying, “I liked how the bacon was crispy enough but not too crispy.” “I went over there to Debris, Nixons – the Pastalaya was incredible,” said Myers. “But our mac n cheese – it’s next level as you can see. It’s one of the best for sure. There’s also an egg roll – I don’t remember who has it but an eggroll with crawfish in it – so good. But of course, FOX10′s is the best right?”
