9 things all mums forget to do after having a baby (and really shouldn't)
After having a baby, self-care and going out on a whim is almost non-existant and all minutes are spent with your brand-new bundle of joy.
Whether you've just had a baby or it's been a year, your body has gone through a huge change, carrying your little one for 9 months and giving birth. You're sleep-deprived and might not have time to do your hair and make up every day, and you might just feel a little different about being yourself because you've gotten so used to just being 'mum'.
Run a hot bath ready for when your little one goes down for a nap, or pop a facemask on and close your eyes for 10 minutes. But now your little one has arrived, those naps your promised yourself when your bundle of joy arrived are a distant dream. Instead of having a sleep, you probably feel like you need to tidy up or do a wash, but remember it's okay to leave everything and grab a couple of hours sleep.6) Exercise
