9NEWS to hold telethon for Rocky Mountain Honor Flight

The school, which is focused on uplifting Black excellence and education, is making another go at becoming a DPS charter school.

will hold a telethon on Thursday, April 4, to raise funds to send Colorado veterans on the trip of a lifetime.

Each trip of three days and two nights, for which the veterans pay nothing, costs $60,000 to $65,000. To date, the nonprofit Rocky Mountain Honor Flight has taken about 1,350 veterans to Washington.
