Rain will move out of North Texas, replaced by blustery and chilly weather to start the weekend.

A significant cold front entered North Texas around 3 a.m. Tuesday leaving cooler temperatures for the week ahead. One last wave of showers and thunderstorms will move through parts of North Texas Friday evening before dissipating.
Sunday will start cold with temperatures in the mid to upper 30s and perhaps patchy frost. The afternoon will be pleasant but cool with plenty of sunshine, light winds and highs in the low 60s.A warming trend will commence early next week with highs back into the 70s Monday and Tuesday, and lower 80s on Wednesday. The next shot at showers and storms arrives next Thursday. Mostly cloudy and mild with a 50% chance of showers and thunderstorms. Low: 62. High: 77. Wind: SE 10-20 mph.
