Author Jeffrey Spear has been working with food producers around the world, cataloging some of the more impressive culinary encounters he’s enjoyed along the way.

All his exotic culinary adventures inspired him to write a book, “My Life in Gluttony: A Culinary Adventure” .“All my international travel really started about 20 years ago, but I said, ‘No, I’m going to go back to my birthplace to Baltimore, Maryland, and talk about the exotic culinary encounters I’ve had since I was a kid,” Spear said.
The first, he said, involved tuna noodle casserole when he was in Boy Scouts. One culinary adventure in Malawi involved a chargrilled mouse.He shared a Russian recipe with us on RCL.
