Rochester, N.Y. A park in the city's downtown area is now named after a man who fought for freedom.
The Austin Steward Plaza in downtown Rochester, formerly the Charles Carroll Plaza, which was renamed during a ribbon-cutting ceremony Tuesday, July 9, 2024. The park also recently underwent more than $12 million worth of upgrades.
