Managing money Managing money is one of the biggest considerations when leaving home for the first time. It’s important young people know how much money they’ve got coming in versus how much they’ll be spending on rent, food, and other essentials. Apprenticeships and the world of work Not everyone goes to university, some start work or take up apprenticeships. Either way, it’s important young people understand their rights, what their payslip means and what to expect from their employer.
