A look at Bengals 53-man roster after moves made ahead of NFL cut deadline

The Bengals on Tuesday made several moves in order to trim the roster to the 53-player limit by the 4 p.m. deadline set by the NFL.

It was thought that defensive tackle McKinnley Jackson may be placed on injured reserve, but Taylor said his timeline from a right knee injured suffered three weeks ago is favorable enough that he is expected back at some point in the first four weeks of the season. In a couple of surprise moves the team kept five tight ends, including rookies Erick All and Tanner McLachlan, to go along with veterans Mike Gesicki, Dew Sample and Tanner Hudson.
