A new Deus Ex game is reportedly in early development at Eidos Montreal. The studio is also said to be working on a new IP and co-developing Xbox games including Fable
, just weeks after it was rebranded as Onoma.
In a series of follow-up tweets, Schreier claimed some Onoma staff would be moving to Eidos Montreal, and provided an unofficial update on that studio’s current projects. “Eidos Montreal, which remains intact, canceled the Stranger Things-inspired ‘kids on bikes’ game that was rumored recently,” he said.
It’s now reportedly working on a new IP that was “recently rescoped”, a Deus Ex game that’s “very very early” in development, and “co-dev partnerships with Xbox including Fable”.
