A cross-institutional research team led by the LKS Faculty of Medicine, the University of Hong Kong (HKUMed), has developed a novel cinnamaldehyde-based prodrug nanomedicine by utilizing cinnamaldehyde, a common food additive, as an anti-inflammatory agent.
