End of an era.
It’s the end of an era for Coronation Street’s iconic pub the Rovers Return in upcoming episodes, which see it boarded up and deserted.
The pub, which has been the centre of the community ever since the first episode of the soap aired in 1960, recently hit financial trouble and current landlady Jenny Bradley feared the business might have to close altogether.the brewery whose name has been associated with the pub since the beginning – and all seemed well., Waterford Incorporated. This led to everyone fearing for their jobs, though Jenny did her best to reassure them.
Once again everything settled down and it seemed that things would carry on as normal in the familiar boozer – or as normal as you can get in a pub that has a serial killer living under its roof. Stephen Reid has recently moved in with Jenny, but what should be a honeymoon period of romantic bliss has been somewhat
