It's another way for fans to enjoy the tunes of the popstar whose UK Eras Tour kicks off this weekend
Swifties are at fever pitch this week as the popstar prepares to kick off the UK leg of her Eras Tour this weekend.
But if you weren't lucky enough to get tickets to the gigs, which start in Edinburgh this weekend and come to Liverpool next week, there's another way to enjoy the singer-songwriter's work. A candlelit concert is coming to the Halle St Peter's in Ancoats this summer, with string quartet String Infusion.We attended one of the concerts at Manchester Cathedral earlier this year when the four talented musicians took to the stage for a rather fabulous candlelit orchestral performance of 14 of her well-known songs.
It's the same line-up this time, on Friday, July 19, with hits including everything from Lavender Haze and Anti-Hero to Snow On The Beach and Shake It Off.Candlelight: A Tribute to Taylor Swift lasts for around an hour and tickets are available on the website here from £22. It's one of many candlelit concerts from events company Fever. Other Candlelight concerts coming up include tributes to Muse, Rihanna, ABBA, Ed Sheeran, Hans Zimmer, Coldplay and Queen.
