BREAKING: 'A third of Welsh population' to go into lockdown after huge coronavirus spike
Around a third of the Welsh population will be living under lockdown from tomorrow after a huge coronavirus spike.Blaenau Gwent, Bridgend, Merthyr and Newport will join Rhondda Cynon Taf and Caerphilly in facing the crackdown.
It comes as the UK’s top scientist warned coronavirus cases in the UK are doubling every week and could rise to 50,000 per day by mid-October.
