Drivers could face delays on the A19
The A19 is set to shut lanes for eleven weeks as a a series of safety improvements and carriageway upgrades are carried out.
The first phase is the Northern Section, which is approximately between Marigold Lay-By and Lay-By North of Harbrough Farm. This will also include Lane two closures of northbound and southbound will take place between August 11 and September 7.For the second phase, work will be carried out on the Southern Section, between Woundales Farm and Marigold Lay-By. There will be lane two closures on the northbound and southbound carriageways between September 8 and October 5.
