The mother of a young man in his 20s killed in a Co Tyrone road crash which took three lives has joined calls for the upgrade of the A5 road to be progressed.
Kate Corrigan, whose son Nathan died along with Peter Finnegan and Peter McNamee after the car they were in was involved in a crash on Boxing Night in 2021 just yards from the Tyrone GAA centre, said the family are still trying to piece their lives together. “Even though you try not to, you’ve no control over it and we’re trying to just piece our lives back together again.”
“Surely we as an organisation have a duty to try and help our membership, and if this road is killing so many of them then certainly we should be trying to do something about it.
