Absolutely Fabulous star, Helen Lederer, has opened up on how her daughter continues to bring up how she let her eat junk food as a child and confessed she felt 'mum-shamed'
Comedian Helen Lederer has revealed that her health-conscious daughter often 'mumshames' her over her past food choices. The 69 year old Absolutely Fabulous star shared that her 34 year old daughter, Hannah, frequently brings up their old McDonald's trips.
Despite this, the actress, who is married to GP Chris Browne, insists they share a strong bond. "I'm sure I did make mistakes because nobody tells you how to do it, but I cracked on and we're here to tell the tale.” She played Elspeth, a love interest of Ken Barlow. In an episode that aired in March 2024, Ken was trying to help his son in law Steve McDonald start dating again after his breakup with Tracy Barlow.
Viewers enjoyed Helen's performance so much, that after only a few minutes on screen, they were willing to demand that she stay on the show forever! One viewer tweeted: "Welcome to Corrie @HelenLederer. I like her. Can #Corrie #CoronationStreet @itvcorrie keep her please?".
