A Scottish urban explorer shared eerie photos of the disused tuberculosis sanatorium that was at one time a psychiatric hospital.at the former East Fortune Hospital in East Lothian. The hospital dates back to 1922, though has lay empty since 1997., when it was constructed in a former airship building. The hospital served as a tuberculosis sanatorium until the onset of World War Two, after which it became a military hospital.
Taking to the Abandoned Around The World Facebook group, the urban explorer wrote:"The war hospital treated tuberculosis patients in Scotland. During World War II, it was converted into a military hospital and expanded to accommodate 400 beds."
