Scotland boss Gregor Townsend has run the changes for his side's World Cup clash with Romania at Stade Pierre-Mauroy on Saturday
He returned to west Wales, playing part-time for Carmarthen Quins in the Welsh Premiership, and sorting packages of meat between the freezer and the customers as his day job.
“I’ve got four kids, so I wanted to push for places just for them and my partner to make them proud. To now get a starting place at the World Cup is pretty surreal.” Sebastian was subsequently signed by Scarlets, he has joined Edinburgh for the forthcoming season, and on Friday he was described by Scotland’s scrum coach Pieter de Villiers, the former France prop, as “one of the best scrummaging tightheads out there”.
Then you have another of the Scots’ World Cup looseheads, Pierre Schoeman, who had a beef sausage and biltong business that he sold across the front row to tighthead team-mate WP Nel before it was closed in 2021.
