Abbey Clancy was one of the first to show her support for Coleen Rooney as she entered the jungle on the new series of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!
Abbey Clancy took to Instagram to cheer on Coleen Rooney as she made her debut on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! on Sunday. The ITV show returned with ten new celebs ready to face the infamous bush tucker trials and vie for the title of King or Queen of the jungle. Among them is Coleen Rooney , one of the most talked-about contestants this year.
She is joined by McFly's Danny Jones, ex-X Factor judge Tulisa Contostavlos and Strictly Come Dancing favourite Oti Mabuse. Coleen, wife of former Everton footballer Wayne Rooney, has been in the spotlight following her high-profile 'Wagatha Christie' libel case against Rebekah Vardy. And model and presenter Abbey, married to ex-Liverpool FC striker Peter Crouch, was among those rooting for Coleen. She shared a video on her Instagram Story, cheering "Yes Coleen. Go Girl! You're going to win. Winner, winner". Abbey wasn't alone in predicting Coleen's victory - fans also took to Instagram to voice their support. Yaz Mitchel declared: "Queen of the jungle.
Coleen, opening up to her Instagram followers, previously confessed: "I've always said no and put it off because the kids have been young and I've had quite a lot on. But this year, I thought, I quite fancy doing it." She expressed her desire for new experiences, saying, "I would like to experience something different, do something for myself, meet new people. I'm looking forward to doing the trials.
However, Coleen shared her concerns about being away from her children, admitting: "Don't get me wrong. I'm really anxious about leaving the kids. That's been my biggest thing. I've come to terms with it. I've planned and prepped." But the star went on to reassure everyone, including herself, by adding, "I've got an army of family and friends all helping out with the kids so they are going to be fine.
