The Brighton loanee lasted for just 16 minutes during the Scottish Cup semi-final with Hearts.
Gutted Abdallah Sima couldn't hide his frustration as he limped off during Rangers' Scottish Cup semi-final clash with Hearts.
The Brighton loanee has faced injury woes already this season having only recently returned from a hamstring injury that had kept him out since January – after picking up a knock while on AFCON duty with Senegal. But the 22-year-old now faces another nightmare after picking up another injury at Hampden. Sima was replaced by Ross McCausland with just 16 minutes on the clock and cut a frustrated figure as he limped off the pitch.
Boss Philippe Clement embraced the winger and held a lengthy chat with him on the touchline. Sima was animated and clearly showed he was in some discomfort – before the Belgian allowed him to make his way towards the Rangers' dugout. As he made his way back he showed his anger. Sima kicked out as he trudged back to the technical area with Rangers' holding a lead thanks to the opening goal from Cyriel Dessers. Premier Sports commentator Ally McCoist was disappointed to see the attacker leave the field. The Ibrox legend said: "He started very brightly. It's also worth mentioning that the substitution that's been enforced on Rangers."
