A song about the size of seagulls in Aberdeen saved the life of a volunteer medic in war-torn Ukraine.
Singer Gregor Mackay and his partners Elliot Hannigan and Conor Hardie could never have imagined their music would save a life. Gregor said: “It is just a silly little song that became so popular and made us feel like the Aldi version of the Beatles. “I had seen the song before and I thought it was brilliant because I had a lot of friends that attended Robert Gordon University, so I know Aberdeen and the size of the seagulls there.
