Aberdeen has secured the loan signing of Tottenham Hotspur defender Alfie Dorrington for the remainder of the season. The 19-year-old English Under-19 international made his senior debut for Spurs in December. Dorrington will now gain valuable first-team experience in the competitive Scottish Premiership.

Dorrington, 19, made his senior debut in December, coming on as a second-half substitute for Ange Postecoglou's side in their 5-0 win at Southampton. The England Under-19 international was left on the bench during Sunday's FA Cup win against Tamworth and now heads out on loan for the first time."He has good speed, stature and good ability on the ball and his arrival will further strengthen our options at centre-back.
