Ben Fitton put his thumbs up as a judge read out the vile comments he had made towards a probation officer, including that his victim was a ‘horrible, life-ruining b****’.
At Manchester Crown Court, Fitton nodded as prosecutor Nicola Carroll detailed the facts of the case. She explained that he would demand money from her to pay for his cocaine consumption, he would not allow her to shower and ordered her to stop using social media. In brief mitigation, Huw Edwards said Fitton had his own mental health issues at the time including emotional instability disorder.
“You described her as a ‘horrible life-ruining b****’ and deny any responsibility for the offences committed.”
