Man United's hopes of bringing Bologna forward Joshua Zirkzee to Old Trafford have been given another boost.
AC Milan have confirmed they have pulled out of the race to sign Manchester United transfer target Joshua Zirkzee.
The Netherlands international, who scored 12 goals in 37 appearances for Bologna last term, has been earmarked as the striker United want to beef up their attacking options. Milan, via advisor Zlatan Ibrahimovic, have now confirmed they are out of the running for the forward. "We are talking, but nothing is close. Zirkzee is the past. As Paulo said, we have a player in mind. I won't say his name. There is somebody, let's see."
