AC Milan are working on a deal to sign Hakim Ziyech, The Athletic understands.
Chelsea signed Ziyech in 2020 for a fee of around €40 million. He struggled at the start of his first campaign at Stamford Bridge after picking up an injury in pre-season. However, he soon settled, playing 39 games and scoring six goals.
Last season he featured 44 times under Thomas Tuchel, scoring eight times, as Chelsea finished third in theThe 29-year-old rejected a call-up for Morocco last season and announced his international retirement in February 2022 after falling out with manager Vahid Halilhodzic. Milan are looking to build on last season, when they captured their 19th Serie A title and their first since the 2010-11 campaign, and have now moved to bring in Ziyech.
