'It has taken longer than it should have'
A councillor says residents are pleased that a damaged bus stop has finally been replaced after a six-month wait.
Cllr Aziz said: “Although I am glad it has been fixed now and residents are happy that the bus stop is safe for them to use again, it has taken longer than it should have. I reported it and, at first, they had to get the clearance from the insurance, and then there were system issues.“The damage of the metal structure of the bus stop and the shattered glass made it look like an eyesore and put some residents off from using the bus.
