“One surveillance camera footage showed this same individual racking a firearm, subsequently ejecting a 9mm round, which was recovered,” authorities said in the affidavit.Another surveillance camera video showed the man removing his black hoodie to reveal a white t-shirt underneath. The man tossed the hoodie onto the ground, and it was later recovered by police, the affidavit states.
Police officers in tactical gear found the man in the backyard of a home on Post Boulevard about a mile away from where the women were shot.A search turned up a Smith & Wesson Military & Police handgun in the man’s waistband and an extended magazine containing 9mm rounds in his front pocket, according to the affidavit.
