The Kuskokwim Delta remains under a high surf advisory through Friday morning
ANCHORAGE, Alaska - The remnants of former Typhoon Ampil continues to weaken as it moves into Northwest Alaska, with high surf advisories remaining for parts of the state. While activity is expected to decrease throughout the day into Friday, a wet weather pattern looks to stay with much of the state through the end of the month.Spotty to isolated showers are with us this morning across the region, with most of Southcentral already seeing dry conditions.
Showers stick around through Friday, with widespread rain looking to build into Southeast over the weekend into next week. As a result of this, highs will drop back into the lower 60s for the next week.Daily rain showers look to remain through the Interior, with no significant stretch of dry weather expected until next week. Any rain that falls each day will amount to 0.10 to nearly a quarter of an inch.
