A 34-year-old actor has been charged with attempted murder and other counts for allegedly stabbing his estranged girlfriend multiple times at her Sunland house, the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office announced.
Nick Pasqual — who was named in a restraining order recently sought by the woman — allegedly broke into her home at about 4:30 a.m. last week and stabbed her multiple times, according to the District Attorney’s Office. Pasqual allegedly fled the scene and was subsequently detained at a U.S.-Mexico border checkpoint in Sierra Blanca, Texas, prosecutors said.as makeup artist Allie Shehorn, was initially hospitalized in an intensive care unit, but has since been moved out of that unit, according to the fundraising site. More than $103,000 was raised as of Friday afternoon. The page states that Shehorn was attacked by her ex-boyfriend.
A day after the attack, an arrest warrant was issued charging Pasqual with one count each of attempted murder, first-degree residential burglary with a person present and injuring a spouse, cohabitant, fiance, boyfriend, girlfriend or child’s parent, according to the District Attorney’s Office. The charges include allegations that Pasqual inflicted great bodily injury on the victim under circumstances involving domestic violence and that he personally used a knife during the crime, according to the District Attorney’s Office.In a statement announcing the charges, District Attorney George Gascón said, “This heinous incident is a stark reminder of the dangers of domestic violence.
