American actor was best known for his roles as the villain in Hitchcock’s Saboteur and as the kindly Dr Daniel Auschlander on TV’s St Elsewhere
Norman Lloyd, whose distinguished stage and screen career that put him in the company of Orson Welles,Lloyd manager, Marion Rosenberg, said the actor died Tuesday at his home in the Brentwood neighbourhood of Los Angeles.
