Adamson University has confirmed the death of one of its students who has been missing since Feb. 18.

"It is with great sorrow that we confirm the untimely passing of one of our students last Feb. 18, 2023 after the report of his disappearance," the university said in a statement on Tuesday.

Authorities have yet to confirm the cause of the 24-year-old chemical engineering student's death. But the Laguna Provincial Police Office said the victim attended the initiation rites of the Tau Gamma Phi fraternity in Biñan on the day he went missing.
