Police are still searching for the suspects who they described as a man of African appearance and a woman of Caucasian appearance.

“The suspects are described as a man of African appearance, about 190cm tall, with a very slim build and short black hair, and a woman of Caucasian appearance, 163cm tall, with a chubby build,” police said in a statement. They said people selling goods online should consider meeting potential buyers in a familiar space with CCTV during daylight hours, informing friends or family of the meetup or asking them to attend and taking down the contact details of the buyers.

“If at any time you feel unsafe, walk away. If you become the victim of a theft or scam, report it immediately to police on 131 444,” police said.
