Adele has made a devastating announcement to fans, telling them that she's going to take an 'incredibly long time' away from music and that she will hold them in her heart
Adele has left her fans heartbroken with the latest news that she's planning to step back from the music scene for a significant period. The songstress, fresh from her bespoke-designed portable arena stint in Munich, made the emotional announcement during her final performance there.
In a candid chat with ZDF back in July, she confessed: "I want a big break after this and I think I want to do other creative things. Just for a little while." Adele opened up about the ordeal during her Munich show, confessing to the audience: "I've been calm all week to the point my friends were worried something was wrong. There was that s**t show of me cancelling Vegas. I wouldn't be here if that didn't happen - I couldn't carry on if I'd done a show I didn't believe in."
"And so on doctor's orders I've had to rest thoroughly. The remaining five weekends of this leg are being postponed to a later date. We are already working out the details and you will be sent the information asap."
