Adele brought her Las Vegas residency to a close with a final show at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace on Saturday night, after 100 shows and two years in the venue
Adele shared a heartfelt kiss with her 12-year-old son, Angelo, as she brought the curtain down on her Las Vegas residency with an emotional finale. The 36-year-old singer-songwriter wowed fans from around the globe during her Weekends With Adele residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace, which concluded on Saturday night after 100 shows and a two-year run.
Addressing the controversy during her final performance, Adele acknowledged the "rocky" start to her show, which eventually kicked off in November 2022. As she bid farewell to her residency, Adele was seen embracing and kissing her son, whom she shares with ex-husband Simon Konecki, 50. Reflecting on the residency's rocky start, she added: "It got off to such a f****** rocky rocky way, it was one of the worst year's of my life. I was being punched around, it was horrible and I was told it was career suicide and Vegas would never forgive me for so last minute," reports the Mirror.
She also gushed with pride, saying: "I am bursting with pride and I am so proud of myself and so proud of my team, the band, my fans I'm so thankful to Vegas for giving me that second chance."
