A young woman from Lancashire who diagnosed herself with ADHD amid lengthy NHS waiting times has urged people not to see the condition as an online trend.

"I'm much happier and more productive knowing what my triggers are and what helps combat my symptoms," she said. "I wouldn't swap my ADHD brain for a 'normal' brain, it allows me to be creative and inventive with my ideas."
