A CHEEKY advertising exec who was facing the sack made sure he had the last laugh by hiring a clown to support him during his official redundancy meeting.
A picture shows the worker casually lounging in the boardroom next to a funnyman in a rainbow wig - who spent the meeting making balloon animals. Bosses at of Auckland firm FCB handed over the redundancy paperwork to the clown - who sobbed on cue, reportsSitting across the table from the clown and the pink-shirted worker - an Australian - were a stern-looking man and woman both dressed in formal office wear.
FCB would not provide any details on the clown's presence at the formal meeting after the picture was sent to the Herald.The company said: "We do not comment on individual employment matters out of respect for those involved."
