St Kilda young gun Darcy Wilson is lucky to have escaped injury from a frightening mid-air incident with Brisbane’s Charlie Cameron. Wilson jumped high into the air to take possession of the ball, deep inside his own defensive 50, when Cameron came directly towards him during their AFL clash on Friday night.
Darcy Wilson tackled in scary mid-air incident. Wilson’s family would have cringed to see Cameron begin what could have been an extremely dangerous tackle while the youngster was airborne. But the Brisbane veteran did extremely well to mitigate the potential danger by carefully lowering Wilson to the ground without causing any damage. Despite that, he was still penalised for a dangerous tackle free kick, which had Channel 7’s commentary team perplexed.
