New power plant will provide reliable electricity to thousands of people in NamibiaAFRICA WILL have its first hydrogen power plant that produces electricity by 2024, according to a senior company executive. The plant will be located in Namibia, Southern Africa.
“Yearly we can produce 142 gigawatt hours, enough for 142,000 inhabitants and that is conservative,” said Mr Lecomte.Currently Namibia imports approximately 40% of its power from South Africa.
