Christopher Wood and Kyle Jenkinson have been jailed following raids in Clitheroe back in 2021
Lancashire Constabulary executed a drugs warrant at properties on Kay Street and Causeway Croft in Clitheroe in May 2021. A total of £4,000 in cash was seized by the Rural Task Force 'which were the proceeds of this criminal enterprise'.
Christopher Wood, 32, of Kay Street, pleaded guilty at Preston Crown Court in December 2023 to charges of Conspiracy to Supply Class B Drugs and Money Laundering. Kyle Jenkinson, 26, of Scarloom Close in Clitheroe also pleading guilty to possession with Intent to Supply Class B Drugs and Conspiracy to Supply Class B Drugs. The judge also made a Proceeds of Crime Act order that resulted in the forfeiture of £4,000 cash.
In a statement on Facebook today , Ribble Valley Police said: "After a long and protracted drugs and money laundering investigation by the Ribble Valley Rural Task Force which commenced in May 2021, following the execution of drugs warrants at properties on Kay Street & Causeway Croft Clitheroe, Christopher Wood aged 32 of Kay Street Clitheroe pleaded guilty at Preston Crown Court in December 2023 to charges of Conspiracy to Supply Class B Drugs and Money Laundering with Kyle Jenkinson...
"At a sentencing hearing on 7th March 2023, at Preston Crown Court, Wood was sentenced to 14 months in prison and Jenkinson 8 months in prison. The judge also made a Proceeds of Crime Act order that resulted in the forfeiture of £4,000 cash that was seized by the Rural Task Force during the drugs warrant at the Kay Street address which were the proceeds of this criminal enterprise.
