The upcoming Marvel Disney+ series Agatha All Along will retain a lot of the fun the character had in WandaVision, but will also be scary.
Speaking during an official appearance on The Official Marvel Podcast, Marvel Head of Streaming, Television and Animation Brad Winderbaum praised the upcoming series, calling it “really fun” and “really scary.”
“Agatha is…really fun, but it’s really scary and it gets quite dramatic,” said Winderbaum. “She’s an amazing anti-hero and that show…lures you in with the fun of Halloween, and before you know it, you’re crying.” Winderbaum went on to clarify that the series was scary for Marvel’s brand, and likened it to a perfect Halloween show.“It’s a Marvel brand of scary. It’s a Halloween show. There are deadly stakes in this series. It’s a fun ride, but it’s a dangerous one.”Agatha All Along hails from head writer and director Jac Schaeffer, who is also serving as an executive producer along with Kevin Feige.
