Great British Bake Off winner John Whaite releases a desperate appeal for his sister who has mysteriously vanished in Portugal
THE Great British Bake Off winner in 2012 has put out a desperate appeal to find his sister after she disappeared in Portugal.
John Whaite put out the plea to find Victoria Cunningham after she vanished from Faro Airport, saying she did not have her passport with her.John's sister Victoria Cunningham went missing at Faro AirportAlong with posting a number of pictures of her on Twitter, he wrote: "Please retweet. My sister has gone missing from Faro Airport. We are all worried for her welfare...
"Her name is Victoria Cunningham. She has no passport with her. If you see her please tell her that her family just want her home safe and sound." He added the authorities in the UK were helping to track her down and in a later post wrote: "Thank you all – still no info on my sister but the British Consulate and Police are now putting pressure on Portuguese police to search.No details of her disappearance have been revealed and it is unclear if she had only just arrived in Portugal or was due to fly out.
